Introduction:

Dr. Xiao Yueyong is the Deputy Director of the Department of Radiology and Director of the Interventional Center at the General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army. He holds a Ph.D. in Medicine and serves as a doctoral supervisor. He is skilled in medical imaging diagnostics, with a particular focus on image-guided interventional diagnosis and treatment. He also serves as the President of the International Society of Cryosurgery, Chairman of the Interventional Minimally Invasive Treatment Committee of the China Medical Education Association, and hold other major roles. With numerous research achievements, he advocates for personalized minimally invasive tumor therapy combined with comprehensive wholistic treatment, emphasizing precise surgical techniques and efficacy. He has made significant contributions to routine medical care and health services. Dr. Xiao has been the Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Journal of Interventional Imaging, Therapy and an editorial board member for multiple journals, including Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging Technology, Interventional Radiology (bilingual), and Chinese Journal of Radiology. Additionally, he has been a senior visiting scholar at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, USA.
